Hello!
Back from Japan and i have
ALOT to talk about :D
Im afraid this post is gonna be very long
but on the plus side,
there will be the photo album link at the end!
First, I must say i miss my tour group
Although we've only spent 6 days with them
I mean they really are fun people.
They are:
-Jovin 'The stewardess' Pei
-Jasmine 'Dellary' Pei ( I shall elaborate on the name later)
-Sonny Pei (He's quite cool la)
-The Razali's family of four
-The Din Sufyani's (Mut and his wife on honeymoon)
-The Michael Tan's (My sis likes his son x)
-Andre Johan and Mr Lim (The 'mampos' indonesians)
and last but not least..
-Mr and Mrs 'Travellers' Tan
They're extremely fun.
And not to mention our tour guide
Lloyd, who speaks fluent Japanese although he's a Singaporean
So. Dellary, lol.
That girl has an uncanny resemblance towards Hillary and Denise.
When i saw her i was like 'Eh, that girl looks like denise + hillary!' and shortly after, the name Dellary popped up.
:D
1st day-
After we reached the airport, we saw this Jap celebrity being mobbed by his fans, two counters away from where we were getting the immigration thingy. I have to say, Japanese are real tall. Even the girls. And they are so good looking. Both guys and girls. So after that we met our tour group and everything, got to know each other blah blah blah. We were staying at the Narita Garden Hotel then. In the night, Lloyd took us to this place called Aeon, a shopping mall. The stuff there are really nice and much cheaper than Singapore. And they were already selling the Nintendo Wii at around 10 000 Yen. But im only talking about in Aeon. The stuff in other parts of Japan cost a bomb. x(
There was this guitar shop, Shimamura Music, which sold extremely nice looking electric guitars. But with all that luggage, who wants to bring home another big and heavy guitar?
P.S It gets dark at around 4pm due to winter :(
So the days are shorter and the nights are longer.
Geez
2nd day-
We checked out of the first hotel and checked in into another one. Some Hotspring hotel. We had to check into one hotel everyday mind you. Imagine how tiring that was. So in the tour bus, Lloyd was telling us that the hotsprings were hot (duh.) and said something like
'Kids, dont dive or start swimming around in the hotspring ah. Get burnt then you know'
Sigh.
Who would right?
After that, we reached Mount Fuji.
The place is beautiful man. But the temperature fell to about -2 deg.
And it was snowing! First time in my life did i experience real falling snow.
In the evening, we went to Harajuku!
Goodness.
If you go there you'd feel so insignificant that you'd feel like hiding.
These people can really dress up man.
And they dont have to act cool, they're just naturally cool.
I was staring at this hip hop store owner's bling and he was staring back at my mini-bling, lol.
His was a big spinner :(
After that, we went to hip hop haven Rapongi.
I can practically just live there
and the Japs are hard core hip hoppers in that area.
They rock.
Oh you know what?
I saw 7 Jap bungs. Thats right. I counted
To be continued.. (in the next post)
